Design Project 5 - Go Karting and Indoor Games Centre

The new design project...a go karting center with an arcade facility (gaming). The brief requires an understanding of the complex urban context, which has historical influence, as well as an industrial influence.

The site is located near the campanile, adjacent to the historical entrance to the harbour - which may or may not influence the design process.

This layout is my first attempt at analyzing the site and surrounds...more to come soon

Additions from the interim submission yesterday (17th)

PG Bison 1.610 Competition 2015

PG Bison was our second project during semester 1...a National competition, held for the design students of South Africa, is inspired by the youth

The project was continued from Monday this week to meet the deadline which was today (Thursday)...so here are the changes from the first submission...looking forward to seeing how things pan out..with two days worth of work :|

Project 4 - The Future African City

What defines a city as an African city...and if there is a common trait, what would that be. Would there be a significant difference between a city in Cairo and a city in South Africa, why not they are both in Africa?! well... they might be in the same country of Africa, but separated by such vast distances as well as beliefs.
